Mona Lisa smeared with cake in apparent climate protest


Happy people schedule regular exercise and follow through on it because they know it pays huge dividends for their mood.

The world's most famous smile was briefly hidden Sunday when a guy smeared some cream cake over the Mona Lisa in what appears to be a climate protest.

The 16th century masterpiece by Leonardo da Vinci, on the other hand, was unharmed since it is encased by bulletproof glass at the Louvre museum in Paris.

Tourists who were in the gallery at the time quickly posted videos on social media.


Visitors reported that a man disguised himself as an old lady in a wheelchair, presumably to obtain access to the handicapped place just in front of the picture.

Then he stood up and smeared the cream cake all over the glass display containing the Renaissance picture.
