Despite not having a first-round pick, the Indianapolis Colts jumped from 16th to 12th in the AFC West power rankings on NFL.com.

The Colts moved up four positions after addressing the offensive side of the ball with three first-round draught selections.

The Colts drafted athletic wide receiver Alec Pierce from Cincinnati with the 53rd overall pick.

With the Bearcats, Pierce had an outstanding combine performance. Pierce, 6'3 and 211 pounds, ran a 4.41 forty and a 40.5 "a jump

Third round pick Jelani Woods (6'7) (No. 73 overall). 

Tight end Woods ran the 4.61st 40 at the combine. His 34 1/8 "Matt Ryan's favourite target.

Bernhard Raimann of Central Michigan was the Colts' 77th overall pick. 

Many expected him to be a late first-round pick, but Indianapolis got a steal in the third.
