Treylon Burks Misses First Titans Practice

According to All Titans' assessment on Tennessee's inaugural mini-camp, the Warren native and former Arkansas Razorback "looked ill-equipped to withstand the workload."

When Burks walked out with a trainer during the individual period, which occurred in the opening 20 minutes of the approximately 90-minute practise, he was noticeably out of breath.

Burks returned to the field after a brief stay inside the training facility, but exited again and stayed inside the rest of the time.

"They assume they're trying to get in shape, but that's not the reality," Titans coach Mike Vrabel later explained. "It's difficult to believe they can duplicate how we do things with a trainer."

That's nothing compared to the sweltering temperatures players will encounter during training camp in August, and there were five wide receivers among the 37 participants .

He was acquired with a choice received from Philadelphia (18th overall) in last month's deal for A.J. Brown, with the expectation that he would fill the position that Brown had played for the previous three seasons.
