What to avoid in the supermarket's "health food aisle"

Many of us head to the 'health food aisle' when shopping for 'healthier' options, but as this dietician shows, that's not always the greatest choice.

Sugar-free chocolate chip cookies might sound good if you have a sweet tooth, but Rebecca says, "No from me."

"These are too heavily processed for me, and I'd much rather eat a regular cookie without all the extras," she says.

Rebecca would also avoid virgin coconut oil.
"This is an over-hyped health product rich in saturated fats, and I prefer alternative oils," she explains.

She'd buy roasted pumpkin seeds.
"They're high in healthful fats and magnesium and zinc. I'd buy them "saying,

She'd buy dry-roasted mixed nuts.
Rebecca says they contain healthful fats, plant protein, and iron.
